Niels
Peder & Ann Katrine sailed to
America on the ship Oscar II, arriving
at Ellis
Island on 31 May 1911. They were
married in September of the same
year, in
Minneapolis, Minnesota. They eventually
had five
children, one of whom, Julia, died
at age 9. The others were Soren,
Katherine, Hans, and James. Peder,
a hard-working
and enterprising young man, operated
several businesses at various times,
such as milk delivery, a general
store, and a moving storage company. |
