I am making an assumption that this particular Tiddeman Hull belongs in this family group, because Robert's will mentions a son Tiddeman. Robert's uncle, John Hull II and his wife Damaris (Cary), also had a son named Tiddeman, but he was probably born earlier.

Tiddeman married Abigail "Abby" Franklin Abt 1775. Abigail (daughter of George Franklin and Mary Remington) was born 28 Sep 1755, Jamestown, RI; died 1815; was buried , Friends' Cemetery, Eldred Ave., Jamestown, RI. [Group Sheet]

Robert married Thankful Ball 13 Mar 1737/38. Thankful (daughter of Peter Ball) was born Abt 1722, New Shoreham, Block Island, RI. [Group Sheet]

Dr. Tiddeman Hull represented Jamestown in the RI General Assembly in 1715, 1717, 1722, 1731, 1731, & 1739. He was also a magistrate and warden of the island.

Tiddeman married Sarah Sands 10 Mar 1710/11, Jamestown, RI. Sarah (daughter of Edward Sands and Mary Williams) was born Abt 1694; died Aft 16 Mar 1747/48. [Group Sheet]

Her exact date of birth is not legible in the Jamestown records. It says "Sarah Rementon 2nd daughter of Stephen & Penellopy born __ August 1688 at Jamestown."

The original birth record at Jamestown reads: "Gershum Remmenton sun of Stephen & Pennelipy 3 December 1690."

Land records show Gershom Remington signing transactions with his wife, Clemence, on 31 Dec 1733. Some genealogists have her name as Catherine. Was Catherine a second wife; or, perhaps simply the name was misread (?).

In 1735 Gershom was Ensign of the Militia for Jamestown, and later was promoted to Lieutenant on the resignation of William Battey; again he served in this position in 1736.

Was there another daughter named Aase or Acie? Here is this listing from the RI Cemetery Database:

Gershom married Clemence Battey 13 Feb 1712/13, Jamestown, RI. Clemence (daughter of Samson Battey and Dinah Havens) was born 4 Jul 1695, Jamestown, RI; died Aft Dec 1733. [Group Sheet]

According to the Jamestown birth record, Clemence was the 4th daughter of Samson & Dinah Battey. As the wife of Gershom Remington, her name has been given as both Clemence and Catherine. I am making an assumption that Gershom's wife was Clemence Battey, whose birth was recorded in the official Jamestown Proprietors Records, Vol. 1, p. 1. The Jamestown birth record has the name as "Clemence Batty." It seems obvious to me that this is the Clemence who married Gershom Remington, especially since they named a daughter Dinah, and Clemence Battey's mother was named Dinah. I have no further proof of her identity, other than this concurrence of data: names, time, and location.

Notes:

BSR says Gershom married Catherine Clemence on 13 Feb 1713, Jamestown (no source noted). However, in some documents she is referred to as Clemence. Jamestown records identify their children as "of Gershom & Clemens" or Clemence. I have made an assumption that she is Clemence Battey, based on their dates of birth and the given names Clemence & Dinah, found in both the Battey and Remington families.
