In the 1900 Federal Census, Henry Ogden, Jr. aged 54 is an inmate in the National Military Home in Marion, Grant Co., IN. It says he is married and is a chair maker.
An affadavit dated 24 June 1880 states that Henry was diseased with scurvy which he contracted in the US Army; this led to his being almost totally disabled.
