Hannah & Isaac were 5th cousins (needs research to confirm).

I have estimated Hannah's year of birth, based on her age in the 1870 Federal Census.

Hannah married Isaac Brown Kent 20 Apr 1837. Isaac (son of Josiah Kent, III and Martha "Patty" Brown) was born 3 Jul 1812, MA; died 7 May 1885; was buried , Lakeside Cemetery, Newman Ave., East Providence, RI. [Group Sheet]

1. Harriet Eliza Kent was born 1840; died 23 Dec 1931; was buried , Prince's Hill Burial Ground, County Rd., Barrington, RI.
2. Ruth Anne Kent was born Abt 1843.
3. Isaac Richmond (1) Kent was born 3 Jun 1844; died 17 Sep 1845; was buried , Lakeside Cemetery, Newman Ave., East Providence, RI.
4. Isaac Richmond (2) Kent was born 1846, MA; died 1931; was buried , Lakeside Cemetery, Newman Ave., East Providence, RI.
5. Martha "Mattie" B. Kent was born 1848; died 1923; was buried , Newman Ave., East Providence, RI.
6. Alfred J. Kent was born 27 Nov 1849, MA; died Aft 1 Jun 1920.
7. Hannah Maria Kent was born 29 Jul 1851; died 29 Feb 1852; was buried , Newman Ave., East Providence, RI.

Notes:

Alfred's marriage is noted in the book "Genealogies of the Different Families Bearing the Name of Kent in the United States . . . " by L. Vernon Briggs, p. 148. However, this section is prefaced with the author's comment: "Others by the name of Kent whom I have been unable to locate, but who are connected with the above families, are as follows."

In the 1880 Federal Census, both Hannah R. Kent and Russel D. Kent have noted that their father was born in Connecticut.

Alfred married Ruth Remington 7 Nov 1813, Barrington, RI. Ruth (daughter of Enoch Remington, II and Ruth Armington) was born 28 Dec 1793, RI; died Aft 1 Jun 1870. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

Ruth is mentioned in the will of her grandfather Enoch Remington. Boyd Scott Remington has her birth date as 28 Dec 1792, but this is not possible if her brother was born in May of 1793. In the 1870 Federal Census, I believe this is the Ruth Kent, age 76, residing in East Providence, RI. This would make her birth year c.1793. In the household with her are Russel D. Kent, age 51 (probably her son ?); Abby ann Kent, age 51 (probably Russel's wife ?); Clara A., 20; and Anna R., 15. All are born in RI, except Russel in MA.

Boyd Scott Remington has his date of death as 11 June 1817 (no documentation).

Enoch married Ruth Armington 5 Aug 1790, Barrington, RI. Ruth (daughter of John Armington and Ruth Kent) was born 29 Jun 1769, Rehoboth, MA; died 24 May 1857; was buried , Prince's Hill Burial Ground, County Rd., Barrington, RI. [Group Sheet]

BSR has her birth date as 29 June 1771.

The New England Historical & Genealogical Register 22, 354 says "Enoch was son of Thomas, of John of Suffolk."

The will of Micah Brown dated 4 Jan 1747/48 mentions him as "kinsman Enoch Remington." Perhaps they were cousins? (see next note)

On 15 Mar 1742/43, James Brown of Barrington was appointed to be guardian of Enoch Remington, a minor over 14 years of age, son of Thomas Remington of Barrington.

"Enock Remington" was baptized at the Newman Congregational Church, Seekonk (or East Providence) in May 1729. (see Arnold's VRs for East Providence, Church Records, p. 519) He was also a soldier in the Revolutionary War.

Boyd Scott Remington gives his dates as 1735 - 1798 (no sources). Also, he has his parents as John & Susanna of Jamestown, which is almost certainly incorrect.

The will of Enoch Remington of Barrington, RI, gentleman, was dated 21 Nov 1807, and proved 1 July 1811. In mentions his wife Molly, and several children, grandchildren, and other relatives as follows: son Enoch dec'd., leaving widow Ruth; daughters Molly Niall, Lydia Bowen, Bathiah Armington, and Mercy Armington dec'd; son-in-law Asa Armington of Rehoboth, yeoman; grandsons Samuel Walker (?) Remington & Enoch Remington, sons of Enoch dec.'d.; granddaughter Ruth Armington, daughter of Enoch dec'd.; and grandson Joseph Armington, son of Mercy dec'd. The will was witnessed by Josiah Humphrey, Jr., Benjamin Niall, & Elisha Humphrey.

Enoch married Molly Watson Abt 1756. Molly (daughter of Matthew Watson, II and Bethiah Reed) was born 5 Mar 1734/35; died 10 Oct 1820, East Providence or Barrington, RI; was buried , Prince's Hill Burial Ground, County Rd., Barrington, RI. [Group Sheet]

She may have been Molly Watson or Walker.

The RI Cemetery Database gives his dates of birth and death exactly the same as his wife's. Perhaps he is actually buried in Vermont, where he died (?), rather in the Newman Cemetery in East Providence, where Ruth is buried.

John & Ruth had 10 children: Sylvester, Joseph, Molly, Hannah, Betty, Russell, Ruth, Olive, John, & Pruda. John and his second wife Chloe had a daughter Abigail. Information on all of these is included in "The Armington Family in America," but I have given data on only the three who link to other families on this tree.
