In 1870, just prior to his marriage, Byron D. Remington is age 20, living in Warwick, RI, with his widowed mother, Betsey P. Remington, age 47, and his sister Ella F. 13.

Byron & Mary and family are in the 1880 Federal Census at Providence, RI.

In the Federal Census of 1900, the family is living on East Main Street in Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., CT.

In 1910, Byron is a widower age 60 and living at Colchester, New London Co., CT.

In 1920, Byron D. Remington, 70, is living at Colchester, New London Co., CT. He is still a minister and is now married to Cora, 58.

Byron D. Remington served as church clerk of the Natick First Baptist Church, in Warwick (now West Warwick),RI. This congregation was first organized on 23 Nov 1839.

Byron married Mary A. Kenyon 16 Jun 1870, RI. Mary (daughter of Sarah C. Unknown) was born 24 Aug 1851; died 24 Jun 1905; was buried , Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston, RI. [Group Sheet]

In the 1850 Federal Census, this Remington family is living at Warwick, RI: George T. 20, Betsey P. 26, & Byron D. 1.

George married Betsey P. Knowles Abt 1848. Betsey (daughter of Gardner Knowles and Hannah Unknown) was born 16 Jul 1823, RI; died 23 Aug 1890; was buried , Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston, RI. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

I am making an assumption that this Betsey P. Remington, buried in the family plot at Pocasset Cemetery, is the wife of George T. Remington, also buried there.

In the 1870 Federal Census, Betsey P. Remington is age 47, living at Warwick, RI. With her are Byron D., 20; and Ella F., 13.

Betsey Remington is age 55 in the 1880 Federal Census at Warwick, Kent, RI, with her daughter "Elesie" age 23 (could it be Ella C.?).

There is no other Betsey Remington to be found in RI, listed in the census at this time.

This family appears to be listed twice in the 1850 Federal Census, at both Warwick, RI (5 Sep); and Scituate, RI (20 Sep) -- except George, who is already married, is not listed at Scituate.

It must be the same family, because most of the names are the same, as are the ages -- with slight differences for three of the children.

Perhaps they were living at Warwick with (or next to) Susan Remington but in that month moved to Scituate.

Thomas is not listed in the RI Death Index.

Thomas married Almira Dyer Abt 1830. Almira (daughter of John Dyer and Patience Sprague) was born Abt 1809, RI; died 15 Dec 1887, Auburn, RI; was buried , Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston, RI. [Group Sheet]
