    I am assuming that the gravestone for Henry Remington, s/o Thomas & Almira, is for the same individual as Henry Clay Remington, their son.

    In the Federal Census of 1860, Henry & Hannah Remington, ages 28 & 24, are living at Warwick, RI. They have three children: Abby 5, George 2, & Infant 8/12.

    Henry married Hannah Parish Hierlihy 1 Nov 1855, RI. Hannah (daughter of Jeremiah Hierlihy and Elizabeth "Eliza" Parish) was born Sep 1836, MA; died 18 Jul 1933, Pawtucket, RI; was buried , Historical Cemetery 83, Cottrell Lot, Seven Mile Rd., Scituate, RI. [Group Sheet]

    In the 1870 Federal Census, Hannah Remington is age 33, a weaver, living at Providence, RI, with her parents Jeremiah & Eliza Hierlihy. Hannah's two (living) children, George H. 12 & Byron 10, are with her. Other individuals -- possibly relatives -- are also in the household.

    In the 1880 Federal Census, Hannah, age 43, is still living at Providence with her parents. Sons George H. & Byron A., ages 21 & 20, are with her.

    In the 1910 Federal Census, Hannah P. Remington is a widow age 72, living with her son George and his wife Lizzie in Pawtucket, RI. In 1920 she is still with them, age 83.

    It must be the same family, because most of the names are the same, as are the ages -- with slight differences for three of the children.

    Perhaps they were living at Warwick with (or next to) Susan Remington but in that month moved to Scituate.

    Thomas is not listed in the RI Death Index.

    At least one person has Abby (Remington) Vose as a daughter of this couple; she was born c 12 Feb 1809. This needs more research to confirm.
