    In 1920 they are still at Bennington, and have a son Floyd N., age 8.

    In 1930, the family is still there, with the addition of a 10-year-old niece, Ruth Hatch.

    Notes:

    In the 1900 Federal Census, Frank & Ella Remington are living on Jefferson St. in Bennington, Bennington Co., VT. They have two sons: Louis 14, & Ralph 12. They are living adjacent to the families of Milo, Alonzo, & George Remington.

    In 1910, they are still there, with the addition of a daughter-in-law, Jennie, presumably Louis's wife.

    Frank married Ella I. Unknown Abt 1882. Ella was born Oct 1853, VT; died Aft Apr 1930. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    In the 1930 Federal Census, Ella I. Remington is a widow, age 76, still living at Bennington, VT. Her son Ralph, age 43 Div., is with her.

    Notes:

    In the 1870 Federal Census, Milo & Mary are living at Bennington, Bennington Co., VT. They have six children in the household: Alonzo 20, Allma (Allina?) 19, Leonard 17, Frank 14, Katy 12, & Mary 9.

    In 1880 the family is still at Bennington. Milo G. is 52, Mary M. is 51, and the children are as follows: Lura A. 29, Frank A. 25 (carriage painter), Katy L. 23 (school teacher), Mary L. 19, & Georgie 10; also boarding with them is George Rice, 23, a blacksmith.

    In the 1896-97 directory of Bennington, VT, M. G. Remington is listed as a manufacturer of Remington's peddlars' carts, wagons, sleighs, carriage painting and general jobbing, home at 114 Jefferson Ave.

    In the 1850 Federal Census, Joshua Remington, Jr., appears to be age 54 and living in Danby, Rutland, VT. His wife is not there, so apparently she has passed away. In the household are son Hosea, and Hulda, assumed to be Hosea's wife, and their two young children.

    In the 1860 Federal Census, Joshua Remington is age 70 and living at Schroon, Essex Co., NY, with his son Justus and family.

    In 1870, Joshua is age 80 and living with son Ziba and family at Horicon, Warren Co., NY.

    One local history says he was born about 1790. It also states that he lived at Wallingford and Hinesburg, VT, and in later years at Huntington. (source: "New England Families" Vol. I, Genealogies and Memorials, p. 381)

    The name of Joshua's wife, as well as a list of some of his children, came from "New England Families" Vol. I, Genealogies and Memorials, p. 381. Also, her name, and birth/death dates for Polly & Joshua, are found in the book "Descendants of Roger Williams" Book III, Sayles Line, p. 203. This source says Joshua was born c1790 at Wall, VT.

    "History of Worcester Co., MA" p 98 says he married Diadama (source: Google Books). Rootsweb's Worldconnect has a family tree showing Joshua's second wife as Diademia Clark, date of marriage 1 June 1835.

    Joshua married Polly Sayles Abt 1812. Polly (daughter of Ezekiel Sayles, Jr. and Martha Ross) was born 5 Mar 1790, Wallingford, Rutland, VT; died 25 May 1834, Hinesburg, Chittenden, VT; was buried , Newell Stokes, Starksboro, Addison Co., VT. [Group Sheet]
