    In the 1860 Federal Census, Mary C. Remington, age 19 MO, is living with her uncle W. C. Remington and family at Lee, Platte Co., MO.

    Notes:

    In the 1850 Federal Census, Enoch, Jane, Mary, & Maria Remington are living at Memphis Ward 5, Shelby Co., TN. Also living with them is Cameron Ewen, 22 AL.

    Note from William D. Adkins (in Special Collections at HISGEN): "The death of ECR at Fort Smith, although told by Grandmother Mary Catheen Remington and recorded in Paxton's Annals, I still have not been able to verify."
