In the Federal Census of 1850, the family is at Tiverton: Franklin Seabury 30, Emily 30, Cornelius 4, and Laura F. 1. They are near/next to other family members.

In the Federal Census of 1860, the family is living at Tiverton, RI: Benjamin F. Seabury 40, Emily 40, Cornelius 14, Laura F. 11, Maria M. 8, Willie I. 5; and Almira Humphrey 18. Brother Joseph Seabury is next door, along with widowed sister Nancy (Seabury) Reid.

In the Federal Census of 1870, the following family members are living in Providence: Emily Seabury 50, Laura F. 21, Maria M. 18, & Willie P. 15; also Ann Manchester 64.

Benjamin married Emeline Emily Manchester 13 Mar 1844, Tiverton, RI. Emeline (daughter of Wanton Manchester and Almy Gray) was born 1820, RI; died 23 Nov 1892; was buried , Hillside Cemetery, Sakonnet Point Road, Tiverton, RI. [Group Sheet]

In the Federal Census of 1870, Emily Seabury, 50, is living at Providence; three of the children are with her, as well as Ann Manchester, 64.

In the Federal Census of 1880, Emily Seabury, 60, is living on Fairmont St., in Cambridge, MA, with her married daughter Laura White and family. Another daughter, Maria Seabury 27, is also in the household.

Notes:

There were at least two Cornelius Seaburys born in Tiverton around the same time, and they were first cousins. One was born 7 April 1763, a son of Aaron & Abigail (Westgate) Seabury. The other Cornelius was born 2 May 1769, a son of Philip & Sarah Seabury. Based on his estimated date of birth as given in the RI Cemetery Database (1769) and also based on his being named in his grandfather's will (appearing to be among the five sons of Philip, listed together), I have made an assumption that he is a son of Philip & Sarah.

These five sons of Philip & Sarah are also mentioned as grandsons in the will of Marcy Pearce, widow, of Tiverton; here they are identified as sons of Philip Seabury.

This conclusion is confirmed by the marriage record:
SEABURY Cornelius, of Philip and Sarah, and Mary Gray, of Col. Pardon and Mary; m. by Rev. John Briggs, March 16, 1714.

There is no other Cornelius listed in the database for the earlier date of birth, which suggests that he may have died young or moved out-of-state.

In the 1850 Federal Census, the family is at Tiverton, RI: Wanton Manchester 73 farmer, Almy Manchester 63, Oliver P. Seabury 35 miner (husband of Elizabeth), Harriet O. Manchester 25, Susan A. Manchester 23, Mary J. Manchester 20, George ? Manchester 65, Mumford Lawton 37 laborer, and Elizabeth Seabury 33. Next door are Jared and Nancy Reid; Jared is the Congregational Minister and Nancy is a daughter of Cornelius Seabury. Next to them are Franklin and Emily Seabury and their two young children; Emily is another daughter of Wanton & Almy Manchester; Franklin is a brother to Nancy Reid.

Wanton married Almy Gray 4 Oct 1812, Tiverton, Newport Co., RI. Almy (daughter of Philip Gray and Susannah Unknown) was born Abt 1792. [Group Sheet]

Pardon's will mentions 10 children and about 20 grandchildren.

Pardon married Mary Unknown Abt 1755. Mary was born Abt 1734; died 24 Feb 1805; was buried , Col. Pardon Gray Lot, Sakonnet Point Rd., Tiverton, RI. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

He is probably the Godfrey Manchester who, on 6 March 1805, "conveyed a lot of land to Philip Gray, 3rd, as clerk of the Amicable Society of Tiverton." A meeting house was built on that land, near Tiverton Four Corners, to replace the older one on Lake Rd. The newer building burned in 1845, and was soon rebuilt, and was remodeled over the years. This is the church building that stands on Main Rd. in Tiverton today. (ref: "The History of Amicable Congregational Church 1746 - 1946")

On 10 Dec 1772 Godfrey Manchester of Tiverton bought land in Tiverton from John Manchester of Little Compton, grandson of John Manchester, deceased. As I see it, these two were brothers.
