    In 1920, Raymond & Winifred are living on Benedict St. in Providence, RI. In 1930, they are still in Providence, living on Waldo St. in District 85. Daughter Winifred, age 10, is with them.

    Raymond married Winifred Josephine O'Brien 3 Oct 1917. Winifred was born 1 Oct 1897, Lawrence, MA; died 1937, Providence, RI. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    According to information from Joanne McLaughlin, Winifred was orphaned in her teens and taken in by a family named McGovern. She had twin brothers who were adopted by a Canadian couple.

    Notes:

    In the 1880 Federal Census, he is Willie F. Cook, age 14, living with his parents and sister at East Providence, RI.

    According to the 1910 Federal Census, William's parents were born in MA. In 1910, William & Cora are living on India St. in Providence, RI. Their seven children, ranging in age from 15 months to 13 years, are in the household. In the 1920 Federal Census, the family is living at 242 Charles St., Providence. Six of the children are still in the household -- all except Raymond, who is recently married and living on Benedict St. In 1930, William & Cora are living at 23 Osborn St., Providence. Daughter Ruth, age 21, is with them.

    According to a descendant, Joanne McLaughlin, William worked for many years at Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Company.
