    In the 1910 Federal Census, William, Emma, and Gertrude are living in North Kingstown, RI.

    In the 1920 Federal Census, William & Emma and their family were living in East Greenwich, RI. William's mother, Peace H. Miller, is living with them. In 1930, William and his wife and children are still there, living on Frenchtown Rd.

    William's mother is Peace Hambly (Remington) Miller, sister of my great-grandfather John Allen Remington who married Angeretta Williams Whitford.

    In the 1880 Federal Census the family is at Coventry with William's mother, age 81, and two daughters by one of William's earlier marriages: Martha, age 10, and Grace B., age 6.

    The Warwick birth record refers to her as "Peacy," and says her father Benjamin was a farmer, and the family residence was in Warwick Neck.

    In the 1920 Federal Census, Peace H. Miller is living with son William H. Miller and his family in East Greenwich, RI

    Notes:

    Their marriage record is found in Warwick Marriages 1850 - 1882, Vol. 1. According to the entry, Peacy was 20 years old, and William was 42. It was his third marriage.
