    Notes:

    Susie's marriage record says she was age 21 and a resident of Grafton, MA, and born in Montreal, Canada. However, the 1880 census has her birthplace as MA. It also has her name as Susanna. Susanna was a family name; perhaps she was named after her ancestor Susannah Wheeler.

    In the 1871 Canadian Census, Susan is age 3, born in Quebec, Canada.

    The marriage record identifies Henry's parents as Simeon C. & Alzada T., and gives his birthplace as Scituate, RI. Susie's parents are identified as John C. & Cordelia, and her birthplace is given as Montreal, Canada. Henry C., a clerk of Scituate, was age 25; Susie A., of Grafton, was 21. It was a first marriage for both.

    Calvin died at age 81 y 10 m of "old age." The death record identifies his parents as Daniel & Rosanna. It has his middle initial as M, but everywhere else it is S, for Sylvester. The death record says he was a resident of Grafton but died at Montreal, and was buried at Grafton.
