4. Nancy Austin Records was born 14 Sep 1926, RI; died 31 Aug 2010.
5. Lawrence Austin Records, Jr. was born 7 Jan 1929, RI; died 10 Dec 2023, RI.
6. Grace Records was born 21 Aug 1930, RI; died 2 Feb 1983.
7. Harry Thurston Records was born 9 Apr 1932, RI; died 21 Feb 2018, RI.
8. David Preston Records was born 3 Nov 1935, RI.

In the Federal Census of 1900, Harry A. 33, Mary 28, & Lawrence 2 are living at Brockton, Plymouth Co., MA. According to the census data, Harry & Mary have been married 8 years.

In 1910, Harry & Mary are still at Brockton. They have two children, Lawrence 12 & Ruth 4.

In 1920, the family of four is still living at Brockton.

Harry married Mary W. Peden Abt 1892. Mary (daughter of Thomas Peden and Ellen Donahue) was born May 1872, NY; died Aft 1 Jan 1920. [Group Sheet]

According to the 1900 census data, both of Mary's parents were born in Ireland.

In the Federal Census of 1870, Loring C. 34, Mary L. 28, and Harry A. 3 are living at Turner, Androscoggin Co., Me. Loring's mother Eunice, age 70, is with them.

In 1880 they are at Hartford, Oxford Co., ME. They have two sons, Harry A. & Newell P.

In 1900 they are still at Hartford, ME. They have two daughters in the household, Vera (Verna?) 16 and Ann (Amy?)13.

In 1910 Loring & Mary are still at Hartford; son Newell P., 37 Div, is with them; also daughter Emma V. 26 S.

Loring served in the Civil War.

Loring married Mary L. Jackson 24 Feb 1863, Turner, Androscoggin Co., ME. Mary was born Abt Jan 1842, ME; died 1930; was buried , North Turner Cemetery, Androscoggin Co., ME. [Group Sheet]

In the Federal Census of 1920, Mary L. Records is a widow age 76, living at Turner, ME, with her daughter and son-in-law Emma & Charles Libby. Mary's son Newell, 47, is also with them.

In the 1880 census the family is at Shelter Island, Suffolk, New York. there are five children in the family. Also there is Thomas Donahue, borther-in-law.

I have made an assumption that this is the family of Mary W. Peden who is the mother of Lawrence Austin Records. The 1900 census says both her parents were born in Ireland, and this agrees. The middle initial of W also agrees.

I have made an assumption that Ellen's maiden name is Donahue, because in the 1880 census there is a brother-in-law Thomas Donahue living with the Peden family.

In the Federal Census of 1850, Calvin E. 53 and Eunice 50 are living at Turner, Oxford Co., ME. They have five children: Jane 22, Loring 14, Calvin 12, Lewis 4, and Child 1/12.

In 1860, Calvin E. & Eunice Record are at Turner, Androscoggin Co., ME. With them is Lewis J., 14, who is retarded.

In the vital records, the surname is spelled Rickards, Richards, and Reckards.

Calvin married Eunice Phillips 23 Mar 1819, Turner, Androscoggin Co., ME. Eunice (daughter of Richard Phillips, III and Sylvia Niles) was born Abt 1 Oct 1798, Turner, Androscoggin Co., ME; died Aft 1 Jun 1880. [Group Sheet]

Notes:

In 1870 Eunice, age 70, is living at Turner, Maine, with her son Loring and family.

In 1880 she is 81, living at Turner with Ellery E. & Lydia J. Fuller. Eunice is listed as mother-in-law.

The marriage record gives her name as Eunice Phillips, but the death record of daughter Jane Lamb says her mother was Eunice Jones.
