    She was the widow of John Remington when she married Ebenezer.

    Notes:

    Banfield was about 92 when he died.

    It is said that he and his first wife were married for 52 years before she died. He had 12 known children.

    Banfield married second to a Miss or Mrs. Blackington (d 10 May 1735), and third to Mrs. Sarah (Pease) Daggett, widow of Deacon John Daggett of Attleboro, MA.

    Some genealogies have the first and second wife as the same individual, named Elizabeth.

    The will of Pentecost Blackinton, yeoman, of Attleboro, was dated 23 Sep 1715, and probated 1 Nov 1715. It mentions but does not name his wife; mentions sons Benjamin (eldest) and Pentecost, and daughter Elizabeth; mentions but does not name "all my other children."
