    Notes:

    Boyd Scott Remington does not list the last three children in this family; however, they are listed in the genealogy at the Suffield Historical Society. Hannah is listed in "Thomas Remington of Suffield, CT, and Some of His Descendants."

    An SAR application says Hannah Remington born 25 March 1723 (no parents given) married Joseph Leavitt. The will of Hannah Leavitt mentions brother Samuel Remington as Executor, but genealogies show Samuel son of John and Hannah died in 1763, before Hannah's will was written in 1769. I wonder if that date of death is incorrect. why would she name her deceased brother as Executor? I haven't been able to find another Samuel who might have had a sister Hannah in this time frame.

    "New England Marriages Prior to 1700" ( by Clarence Almon Torrey, Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore, 1985) gives a date of 6 Dec 1687; locale for this couple is Suffield, CT. The date may be for the marriage or for the birth of a first child.
