    Notes:

    This David, at age 16 on 17 Sept 1756, chose his "uncle" Samuel Remington to be his guardian. Apparently this "uncle" was the brother of his mother's first husband, Thomas Remington.     David Saben/Sabin was "of Rehoboth." According to genealogist Gordon L. Remington, his parents were James & Abigail (Brazier) Sabin.

    David married Mary Hunt 21 Oct 1731, Seekonk, MA. Mary (daughter of Enoch Hunt and Elizabeth Bowen) was born 5 Sep 1707, Rehoboth, MA; died 9 Aug 1784, Enfield, Hartford, County, CT. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    She may have married second, David Sabin/Saben. Seekonk/East Providence VRs have a marriage for Mary Remington of Barrington and David Saben of Rehoboth, on 21 Oct 1731. I am making an assumption that this marriage applies to this Mary, widow of Thomas Remington.

    "She and her daughter Mary Sabin are listed on the 'Covenant of Enfield Separatists 1762.' "

    Her gravestone in Enfield, CT, names her as Mrs. Mary Allen, formerly wife of Mr. David Sabin.

    Notes:

    This marriage is listed in Seekonk/East Providence VRs; Gordon L. Remington says it was in Rehoboth. (I need to research and verify this)

    At the time of their marriage, Mary Remington was "of Barrington" and David Saben was "of Rehoboth."
