    The marriage record gives her name as Mrs. Elizabeth Kinnecutt, but she must have been Sarah because the births of their children give her name as Sarah.

    I have roughly estimated Thomas's year of birth. The RI Genealogical REgister Vol. 19 pp. 275 & 278 give different years for his date of birth: 1707/08 and 1708/09. I have not viewed any original records or documents.

    Edward was made a citizen of Bristol at its first town meeting. His father's will left him a farm in Bristol. On 7 Mar 1705 he joined the Congragational Church there. (source: RI Genealogical Register, Vol. 14 p. 186)

    Notes:

    Roger came to Malden, MA, by 1661, and was made a freeman in 1672. He and his family moved to Swansea, MA, by 1678; he is listed as a proprietor of Sowams prior to 1680 (Sowams is now within the boundaries of Barrington, RI). Town meeting notes show that Roger was due L18 for having built a frame house for Rev. John Miles, first pastor of the Baptist Church there. Roger is listed as having fought at Mt.     Notes:

    Nathaniel came to America in 1634 with his parents on the ship Elizabeth & Dorcas. They settled at Hingham, MA. About 1645 Nathaniel married Bridget (m.n. unknown), probably a widow. He was a cooper and fisherman, and became Deacon of the Church at Hull, MA. In 1683 he and his family removed to Bristol, (now) RI. In the 1680s he built the first frame house in Bristol, on land he purchased on the east side of Hope Street just north of the bridge across Silver Creek. He became a citizen of Bristol at its first town meeting, and was the first Deacon of the first church formed in Bristol, the Congregational Church.     The will of Nathaniel Bosworth, dated 15 March 1689, mentions wife Bridget; sons Nathaniel, Joseph, John, Jeremy, Bellamy, & Edward; and daughters Mary (poss. Lobdell), Mary (Jacob), & Bridget.
