William died at age 102+.

In the 1850 Federal Census, William is age 63 and living at Portsmouth, RI, near his brother John. With him is son William M. Manchester, age 36, and also Abby B. Bennett, 29. Abby may be his niece, through either the Bennett or the Fish family

From notes of Glenn Russell at Rootsweb's Worldconnect: William Manchester's will dated 21 Nov 1883 and probated 12 Jan 1885 at Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI mentions son, William M.; John, son of late brother, Edward; Ann Augusta, Clara W. Rathbone, and Bertha L. -- all daughters of John; unnamed daughters of Henry King of Tiverton, granddaughters of brother John.

William married Elizabeth Fish Abt 1812. Elizabeth (daughter of William Fish and Martha Unknown) was born Abt 1788; died 30 Dec 1839; was buried , St Mary's Cemetery, Portsmouth, RI. [Group Sheet]

1. William Madison Manchester was born 25 Aug 1814, RI; died 3 Nov 1897; was buried , St Mary's Cemetery, Portsmouth, RI.
2. Isaac Manchester was born Abt 1822; died 10 Jun 1849; was buried , St Mary's Cemetery, Portsmouth, RI.

Notes:

According to John's Revolutionary War Pension File, both he and Mary were born in Tiverton, and knew each other from their youth.

I have roughly estimated his year of birth. At present it is unclear which family group this John Manchester belongs to. He may be a son of Isaac Manchester and Hannah Cundall, since the name Isaac is found several times in subsequent generations.

Or, could he be a son of John & Lidia who were married 13 May 1749 at Tiverton?

Glenn Russell's family tree at Rootsweb's Worldconnect lists 8 children for this couple, but I am including only 5 of them at this point. This family needs more research.

John married Mary Fish 8 Sep 1780, Tiverton, Newport Co., RI. Mary was born Abt 1758; died Aft 3 Oct 1836. [Group Sheet]

Mary's maiden name is identified in the Revolutionary War Pension file of her husband John Manchester (#W21752).

She is most likely related to Elizabeth Fish, who married Benjamin Hambly, possibly a sister or a cousin.

Notes:

According to the private journal of Elder Peleg Burroughs of Tiverton, a Minister of the Gospel, "on the 8th day of September A. D. 1780 -- Preached at B. Hambly's upon Psalm 107:31 (O that men would praise xc) married John Manchester to M.F. and stayed all night at Bro. Davenports."

Benjamin Hambly's wife was Elizabeth Fish, probably related to Mary (needs more research).
