    Notes:

    According to the family genealogy data, Henry's first wife was "Abenna Patient." However, in the 1910 census, her name is given as Josephine age 22 MI, both parents b Canada.

    In the Federal Census of 1910, Henry & Josephine, ages 29 & 22, are living at Chassell Twp, Houghton Co., MI. They have two young children, Irene & Earl.

    In the 1920 census, Henry is a widower, again living at Chassell, Houghton Co., MI. He has five children in the household; the youngest, Celia, was born in Florida.

    In the 1920 census he also appears to be the Francis Remington, age 38 MI widower, living at Bergland, Ontonagon, MI, working for a the Worcester Logging Company, along with his brother Arthur. A William Remington is also there, but he may or may not be their brother, William.

    In 1930, Henry is with his second wife Anna, and they are living at Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. Earl and Lenora are with them.

    Henry married Abenna "Josephine" Patient 29 Aug 1907, Iron Mountain, Dickinson Co., MI. Abenna was born Abt 1888, MI; died Between 1910 and 1920. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    According to family data, Henry's first wife was Abenna Patient. However, in the 1910 Federal Census, her name is given as Josephine, age 22 MI, parents b Canada. I have searched the previous census data and can not find anyone with a name resembling Abenna Patient. This needs more research. Could her name have been Alvina Perrault?

    In 1880 Albert is married to Ida and living at Chocolay, Marquette Co., MI.

    In the Federal Census of 1900, Albert & Ida are living at Chassell, Houghton, MI. They have nine children in the household: Henry 19, Louise 17, Emma 15, Arthur 15, Addie 12, Willie 10, Pearl 6, Belle 4, & Earl H. about 1 month old.

    Information from Mary Currie: He died March 11, 1901 in an accident. He was hauling logs and a whiffle tree* broke and struck him in the chest just below the heart, killing him instantly. He worked for the Sturgeon River Lumber Company at Chassell, MI.

    According to his death certificate, Albert died at age 44 y 8 mo 10 d.

    Albert's funeral service was held at the Congregational Church in Chassell, MI.

    An entry at Familysearch.org has Albert's middle initial as H.

    In the 1920 Federal Census, she and her second husband Joseph Porier are living at Portage, Houghton Co., MI. Four of her children are with them -- William, Weslie, Ralph, & Marie.

    Her name is sometimes given as Ida Snyder. The marriage certificate says Snyder.
