    The May 1746/47 will of Nicholas mentions wife Elizabeth; 4 sons: Hugh, Joseph, Thomas, & Nicholas; 5 daughters: Mary Allen, Elizabeth Tripp, Mercy Shreve, Rebeckah Willcocks, & Margret Taber; granddaughter Sarah Pope. The will was proved at Tiverton 7 Sep 1747. the will says he was "of Dartmouth."
