William Sr.'s occupation is given as guard at U.S. Supply spot (?). William died that year, 1920, on the 24th of some month -- I don't know which. No.1 which was located at the corner of High and Franklin Street. This exact photo is one of several dozen old photos still proudly displayed in the company meeting room now located on Anawamscutt Drive. This fire company has been serving the community since 1843."
