Could he be the John Manchester, age 56 b. RI, in the 1850 Federal Census, living at Royalton, Niagara Co., NY? The age and birthplace are right, but it is a common name. He is married to Phebe, age 48, and has a son John, 13, both born NY.

I have entered this information because the age and birthplace are correct, but definitely needs more research to confirm.

On the other hand, could he be John Manchester, age 60 (c1790) living at Little Compton in 1850? His wife is Sarah age 55. They are living with or next to Almy family members: Cook 84, Ruth 60, Clarinda 50, & Deborah 48.
