  Job was "of Exeter." His will mentions stepmother Elizabeth, so it is not known who his mother is. "Doc Job Tripp" is mentioned in the Exeter Town Records of 19 June 1759. The will of Job Tripp of Exeter, yeoman, is dtd 18 Dec 1779, prvd 6 May 1782. Besides his "mother-in-law" (stepmother) Elizabeth, he mentions 5 sons: Peleg, Charles, Pedigreene, Benjamin, and Ezekiel; and 5 dtrs: Mehitable Green, Sarah Weight, Anna Mosher, Mary Weeden, and Phebe Boss; also two grandsons, Job Tripp; and Pedigreene Tripp s/o son Pedigreene.
