    • Her father's will dated January 1836, proved August 1837, mentions his daughter Lydia Arnold, widow of Olney Rice Arnold, and gives her real estate in Dudley, Worcester County, MA, and the household goods that were her mother's, Nancy Remington dec'd. Whether he meant that Nancy was her biological mother is not certain.
