- I have wondered if she may have been a single mom, possibly the mother of "Thomas Remington, of Prudence," who was b c1735/36 and living in Coventry, RI, in the 1790 Federal Ccensus. This is only speculation in an attempt to explain this notation on the census, as well as explain Thomas's mystery parentage. If someone else knows who his parents are, I would like to know also.
