    • "On 28 September 1744 James & Mary Hawkings of Providence quitclaimed their right to land 'that was our Honoured father Thomas Remington of said Warwick, Decsd' to Thomas Remington (Warwick Deeds, 7:181)."

      On 6 February 1772 "William and Mary Hopkins of West Greenwich deeded to Thomas Remington, Junior, their rights by virtue of the death of 'our late dec'd Brother Stephen Remington.' "

      Mary's record of her first husband's estate, dated 8 Oct 1754, mentions their daughter Maplet and two sons.
