  From "Little Compton Families" by Benjamin Franklin Wilbour, published 1967 by Little Compton Historical Society, p. 203: "John Coggeshall of Tiverton, son of John & Jane (Birrell) Coggeshall of Newport, was married 8 Dec 1739 at Tiverton by Philip Tabor, Justice, to Amey Dwelley, daughter of Joshua & Elizabeth (Round) Dwelley, of Tiverton.
