    • He may have served in the military with his brother Joseph, and later married Betsey and settled in Vermont. A Benjamin Remington settled in Sheldon, VT, and had a son Jesse b.1806, who married Patience Griffin. Jesse in turn had a son Hosea who married Lucretia Rice. Another son, Warren, was reportedly born in 1834. That Benjamin needs more research to confirm which family group he belongs in.
