Notes - I am not absolutely sure that this date of death, or this spouse and children, belong to John Remington, son of John & Susanna. However, the family group was from Newport, which is just a short boat ride across the water from Jamestown, home of John & Susanna and their Remington forebears. Also, the names of at least three of the children (Benjamin, Abigail, Peter) reflect the names of the children and Remington forebears of John & Susanna. Lastly, the dates for both John & Sarah from the RI Cemetery database seem to coincide with the date of birth we have for John, and the marriage date of 1772.
Newenglandancestors.org, Jamestown Vital Records, has his date of birth as 6 Jan 1746.
