    • I am not absolutely sure that this date of death, or this spouse and children, belong to John Remington, son of John & Susanna. However, the family group was from Newport, which is just a short boat ride across the water from Jamestown, home of John & Susanna and their Remington forebears. Also, the names of at least three of the children (Benjamin, Abigail, Peter) reflect the names of the children and Remington forebears of John & Susanna. Lastly, the dates for both John & Sarah from the RI Cemetery database seem to coincide with the date of birth we have for John, and the marriage date of 1772.
