    • Ruth is mentioned in the will of her grandfather Enoch Remington. Boyd Scott Remington has her birth date as 28 Dec 1792, but this is not possible if her brother was born in May of 1793. In the 1870 Federal Census, I believe this is the Ruth Kent, age 76, residing in East Providence, RI. This would make her birth year c.1793. In the household with her are Russel D. Kent, age 51 (probably her son ?); Abby ann Kent, age 51 (probably Russel's wife ?); Clara A., 20; and Anna R., 15. All are born in RI, except Russel in MA.
