    • In the 1860 Federal Census, the Talbot family is living at Warren, Bristol Co., RI. Simeon & Harriet have three children, all born in RI. In the 1870 Federal Census, the Talbots are still living at Warren, Bristol Co., RI. Harriet's mother, Harriet Remington, is living with them at age 68. However, she seems to have been listed twice, as she is Harriet Remmington, age 65 MA, living with William & Maria at Davenport, Iowa, also in 1870. Charles Talbot, age 20, son of Simeon & Harriet, is also there in Iowa, so it certainly is the same Harriet Remington.
