Notes - In the 1850 Federal Census, Samuel B. Remington is age 18, a clerk, and living in Ward 6, Providence, RI, with grocer George & Maria Robinson. However, he appears to be listed also in Warren, where his mother and brothers are living. There he is a clerk age 17.
