    • According to the 1910 census, "Lily" has had 7 children, 3 of whom still are living; I have only 6 children listed for her, one of whom is Viola, age 7, living with her and her husband at Johnston. Another is Lillie Twiss, age 16, boarding at Johnston and working as a hosiery winder. The census data also says she is in her second marriage, but it is her third.

      In 1920, she is Lillian Twiss again, living at Providence, with daughter Viola, 17. It says Lillian is a widow, but apparently she and Francis have divorced and she took the name of her previous husband. Francis appears to be remarried and living in NH.
