  • Notes
    • Moses was five times appointed deputy from 1681 to 1699, was overseer of the poor in 1687, and when he died, January 6, 1703, at Warwick, he left an estate which included a stock of leather, green hides and bark, abd tanning instruments. TheLippitt Burial Ground, in which are still to be found the uninscribed graves of Moses, and probably his father as well, is situated in a pasture southeast of the road and a quarter of a mile east of the Quaker meeting house at Old Warwick.
