Job was "of North Kingstown." Job's first wife (name unknown) was the mother of some or all of his children. His will, written when he was "well stricken in years" (no date) mentions his wife Elizabeth and the following children: Job, Isaac, William, Benoni, Abiel, Mehitabel (Thomas), Ann (Moon), Mary (Dawley), Phebe (Rice), Abigail (Greene), & Deborah (Spink); also, grandson Isaac son of Isaac.
Job Tripp was made a citizen of Newport in 1726. He was a deputy at the General Assembly from North Kingstown from 1734 to 1738.
