Lisle at RIGENWEB-L@rootsweb.com, 5 July 2000: "From a letter written in 1909 by Mrs. Estelle Dorman Stedman, a daughter of Daniel Dorman: 'Daniel Wells Dorman and his wife Mary Perry Remington, a niece of Commodore Oliver Perry of Lake Erie fame, came to Otis from Tolland some time in the early part of the last century, and made a home for his family at the place now known as Hogencamp's.'
