Notes - In 1870, LaMartin Remington is age 21, a law student, and is living with his parents at Canton, St. Lawrence Co., NY, the same town where his brothers are living. His married sister is also in the household.
In 1880 Lamar & Florence are living at Albany, Albany Co., NY. They have a three-year-old son, Charles. I am not absolutely sure that "Lamar" is Lamartine, but the age agrees. He is editor of the Morning Express.
According to the obituary, Lamartine Z. Remington died of consumption.
