  • Notes
    • The birth record for Remington Northup says he was a son of Nicholas & Ann (Slocum) Northup. Was this a clerk's error? I have a marriage for another Ann Slocum to Nicholas, William's older brother; but supposedly she died defore Remington would have been born. This puzzling entry needs more research.

At the present time I am assuming that Remington was indeed a son of William & Ann. He went to Oneida, NY, as they did. Also, he named a son William.
