In the household with her are ten Remington individuals, presumably her children, although Hannah Remington (age 2 or 20?) may be a daughter-in-law. Also next door, or with her, is son Elisha and his new wife Samantha.
In the 1870 Federal Census, Susan Remington is age 74, living at Raccoon, Parke Co., IN, with her son John, 50.
