Notes - In the Federal Census of 1850, Christopher R. Colvin is age 40 and Nabby Colvin is age 63. I don't know if these ages are accurate.
From the RI Cemetery Database: COLVIN CHRISTOPHER R 1827c - 25 SEP 1853 SC121. This data is confusing. Perhaps the stone is not easily readable.
The will of Christopher R. Colvin of Cranston is dated 14 Aug 1852, proved 29 Oct 1853. It mentions wife Nabby "who received what she had before our marriage"; sister Lydia Carpenter w/o Peleg; Henry Hierlihy executor.
Boyd Scott Remington has Christopher R. Colvin as marrying Alta Mary Remington. It could be that Nabby was his second wife, as implied by the wording in his will.
