    • In the 1860 Federal Census, Lydia Remington is a widow aged 58, living at Mexico, Oswego Co., NY. Other family members are living in the household and nearby. With Lydia are Mary 21, Delia 16, & David 14, (presumably) her three youngest children; also a granddaughter Ella, age 5.

      In the 1870 Federal Census, Lydia is 67, still living at Mexico, NY; her granddaughter Lella Remington, age 15, is still with her. They are living next to James & Sally Wellwood on one side, and Leroy Remington and family on the other side.
