Notes - Amos Remington moved to Wisconsin about 1845. His son, Delesone D. Remington, was born in Wisconsin in 1849. Amos later moved to Missouri and then to Page County, Iowa in about 1867.
In the 1850 Federal Census, the family is at Spring Valley, Rock Co., WI, with their two oldest children. In 1860 they are still there, with children "Delerane," Alma, Alfretta, & "Cenith."
In the 1870 Federal Census, Amos, 49, and Matilda, 46, are living at Buchanan, Page Co., Iowa. With them are children Delavan D., 21; Alma F.(?), 18; & Alfareth (?), 15. The children were all born in Wisconsin.
In 1880 Amos & Matilda are still at Buchanan. With them is daughter Alfarata (?), age 24.
- Amos Remington moved to Wisconsin about 1845. His son, Delesone D. Remington, was born in Wisconsin in 1849. Amos later moved to Missouri and then to Page County, Iowa in about 1867.
