The church records say he died 30 Sept 1814, but the year seems to be one off.
He and his wife, Avis, and his brother Rouse (Rowse) were all baptized on the same day.
Six of these children appear in the North Kingstown records as "of Gideon and (?)," years of birth unreadable. I am assuming they are children of this couple, although that may not be correct. Sylvester is not listed, so I don't think he is a biological child of this couple, although one genealogy puts him in this family group. Perhaps he was orphaned young and raised by this couple (needs more research).
