    • Huldah was "of Daniel, of Scriba, NY." In the 1850 Federal Census, she is living at Lorraine, Jefferson Co., NY, with her four youngest children. In the 1880 Federal Census, she is age 77, apparently living alone in Lorrraine (District 130), Jefferson Co., NY. Several other Remington families are nearby. According to the census data, she was born in NY but both of her parents were born in RI.

      In the 1860 census, Huldah is age 59. With her is daughter Phebe Hitchcock and her family.

      In 1880 she is still at Lorraine, NY. She is age 77 and living near by other Remingtons.
