• Notes

  In the 1850 Federal Census, Elihu is age 73, living at Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI, with his daughter Julia Walker, her husband Walter, and their six children, along with Sophia Goff 72, b. CT. According to notes from the Special Collections at NE Hist & Gen Soc, Elihu and family followed his brother Dan to Rush, Monroe Co., NY, in 1819. He was a founder of the Baptist Church there in 1830. In 1835 he went to Grand Blanc, MI, where he bought land in Section 2 that year. He died at age 75 y 3 m 10 d.
