    • The will of Pardon Sheldon of Cranston, dated 9 October 1848, proved 30 June 1849, mentions his wife Rebecca W. Sheldon, sons Israel Remington, Robert Aborn, Pardon, James Rhodes, George Frederick, & Lewis; daughters Louisa Greene, Patience Aborn, Rebecca Aborn, Mary Tyler, & Huldah Dorcas. One of the four trustees was Samuel T. Remington; one of the witnesses was Remington Arnold.
