    • In the 1930 Federal Census, Pardon (age 30) and his family are living at St. Louis, MO. It says his father was born in GA, and his mother in RI.

      His parents had been living in Boston, so perhaps that is where he was married to Maud. At least one of their children was born in Virginia, in 1922. The others were born in Missouri.

      Pardon Sheldon Remington was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Class of 1916.

      He was admitted as a Midshipman in the US Navy on 3 July 1918.
