  According to a genealogy at Rootsweb's Worldconnect, David was married first to Rebecca Phillips, with whom he had six children. Rebecca Colvin is buried in the same cemetery lot, so I am including her here as David's first wife. I obtained the names of David's parents from an online family tree; this information needs to be confirmed. The will of David Colvin of Scituate, advanced in years, is dated 18 Feb 1824, proved 13 Sep 1832. It mentions wife Lucy; sons David Jr., Christopher R., Obediah, Jabez R.; dtr.
