  In the 1870 Federal Census, the family is living at Richland, Holmes Co., Ohio: Oliver 25, Rebecca 20, Franklin 2, & Hershel 3 months. In 1880, they are still living at Richland. The household includes Oliver & Rebeka, their four sons, plus mother-in-law Sarah and brother-in-law Hansam Ferell; also brother Joseph C. Remington, age 26; and Emma Rubel, 17 (cousin?). In 1920 Oliver & Rebecca Jane Remington are living at Montgomery, Ashland Co., OH. He is 74 and she is 68. By 1930, Oliver is widowed. He is age 84 and living with daughter Mamie (Mame?) and her family at Ashland, Ashland Co., OH.
