  • Notes 
    • In the 1870 Federal Census, "J. B. Lippit" is age 37 NY, a marble cutter, and is living at Constantine, St. Joseph Co., MI. He is married to Caroline, age 26 NY, who I am assuming is his second wife. They have three children in the household: Ida 13, Sheridan 10, & Mary B. 3 (probably). The children were all born in PA. I am making an assumption that Mary is the daughter of Caroline. This family group needs more research.
